Gerald you are an idiot conspiracy loon. You didn't even listen. Or if you did then your comprehension proves you're an idiot. When the oceans grow more acidic, calcium carbonate dissolves. Shelled creatures die. Coral and zooplankton die. They are the bottom of the food chain. Plus they take carbon out of the system. They die, then you die.

Gerald show us the evidence or you're spouting opinion. At best. That's how it works. I stand by what I said about you ignoring the effects of acidification that she talked about. Prove me wrong. i love to learn. But opinions mean nothing in the face of facts.

+Gerald You made the initial assertion here in the comments. It's incumbent on you to prove your claim. But I'll meet you half way. I live on Puget Sound in the Pac NW corner of the United States. Washington state. You know very well that I don't have decades of shells to measure and compare to current shells. But we have people trying to make a living off that ecology and they are already having problems. I know one couple personally. But that's just anecdote. Here is one of about a bazillion publications on acidification of ocean waters and the effects. It is published by the state and made nice and simple for you. https://fortress.wa.gov/ecy/publications/publications/1201017.pdf Now you show us publications that show acidification is not happening - or that acidic waters don't harm shelled marine creatures. That's two ways to prove your case. Either will do. Come on be a big boy. Put up or stop confusing the issue and shut up.

Jim I agree she should have been more thorough in presenting her basis. But then she did have the charts that show the trends. As for the rest, I think you know better. Being a naturally occurring gas is irrelevant to the issue. The issue is the volumes and ratios and rates of change.
