  1. Reparations are the only way to set things on an even keel, and make amends for both historic and current racial inequities. Over 150 years of repression and structural advantage to white males make for an uneven starting ground and a mockery of the notion of fair competition and earning one's rewards. Do you think this doesn't exist? Read "Color of Law' to get an insight into housing discrimination imposed by statute and regulations. Then remember that almost all wealth in the middle class is bound up in home ownership. It is crystal clear. And no amouont of knee jerk denial can change the facts.
