  2. Walper Seriously? Get the government out of the way completely? Surely not. That's a stupid idea. Corporations are only interested in maximizing profits. In fact, the officers and board risk being sued by investors if they don't. We need some oversight for health and safety of the public.

In addition your "because your line of thinking" is a slippery slope fallacy, unless and until you prove the connection. But at least you recognize a need for some controls such as pollution. It suggests you can see that some things can not be left to the market. The question becomes which ones.

  5. Walper You need to support your claims. One could just as easily say the rise of Google, FB, etc, is a natural outcome of the free market. Amazon might be a better example than either of them too.
