A levels are elitist. They should be abolished in favour of "Appreciation Certificates" where students can appreciate something, ie Maths..but not have be good at it.

@geoffdundee - Yes the University was founded by a Nigerian Prince who has kept the University going via telephone donations from kind British OAPs who unknowingly pledge a percentage ( usually 100%) of their life savings.

@insertnamehere4665 - sorry to hear about your struggle to find work...I would have thought local authorities would be crying out for someone with your credentials to retitle the statues of racists and slave traders that litter or streets.. especially as we have 20k Afghans arriving who obviously shouldn't have to be confronted by Britain's horrific colonial past....good luck.

@insertnamehere4665 - if a woman can wear a burka when it's 40c in N Africa....then there's no reason a woman shouldn't wear one here when it's 15c in the middle of a scorching British summer. These poor young men who have to be confronted by semi clad women flaunting themselves on the beach as they step off their dinghies at Dover is downright disgraceful and is not the sort of thing they should have to endure whilst awaiting their minibus to the nearest Premier Inn.
