I got my PhD in Applied Mathematics from Nairobi University..as a white person, I experienced no discrimination. My postal order was accepted and I received my certificate 2 weeks later.

@georgegeorge4921 - that's to help the Chancellor....Prince Nugora fund the University (his pride and joy) after the uprising against him in 1979.. all his kigdoms wealth was captured by the rebels and as such it has been a constant struggle to keep the University open.

@georgegeorge4921 - did you try the University hotline. I had to phone up, when I noticed it said Appled Matamatics on the certificate...must point out it's £3 / min... Usually very busy, I was no 45 in the queue and had to hang up after 4 hrs.
