A Dutchman telling us we have done the right thing ! As an Englishman I'm telling you the Dutch did the right thing as have the French, we will not be rejoining the EU and I'll go as far to say the EU will cease to exist ( especially in it's current form) in the coming years.

@taefravis - it's the majority of those that turned out and voted ( is what I said)..that's the majority that COUNTS . Your assumption is that all those who couldn't be bothered to vote were remainers. Even if they were, they still don't COUNT because they didn't vote !. Farage was not responsible for how the Govt implemented Brexit. Most MPs ( all parties) were remainers including May who tried to appease them along with two years wasted through incompetent negotiations led to BoJo'' s 80 seat majority, because the "majority" that voted realised we had left and simply wanted to get on with it... The Tories managed to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory that's why Stumper ( staunch remainer who wanted the vote overturned) has stated there is no going back...or will he go back on his promise ? 🤔

Reform say what the Conservatives should have done....and as you'll find out what Labour should have done come the next election...Farage got Britain out of the EU ( against the odds), he helped BoJo get elected and he's helped Starmer get elected, and as we'll find out soon Sunak will lose his Tory leadership.. helped by Farage.

@venusfooltrap7371 - No I haven't considered Dutch citizenship ( although I am very fond of the Dutch and Netherlands) and no I haven't considered French citizenship ( because I'm definitely not fond of the French !) but you are right about proportional representation and disbanding the house of lords, it's outdated and undemocratic..that's why Reform want want it changed.

@venusfooltrap7371 - the majority that voted voted leave. Just like this election it's who turns out to vote that counts.. everyone else is irrelevant. For any government to go against the will of the people would be madness.. that's how democracy works.
