  1. He didn't make a false claim or lie to the police, she did and was caught out when she used the phone she reported stolen. Yes she got a sentence as he did, but she claimed to be the" victim" of a mugging that she reported to the police..that's where the integrity and honesty comes in...even for politicians !

  2.  @Fluxiton  - my point is she reported a crime to the police that wasn't.. claiming she was the victim of a mugging. He wasn't the victim of a crime " he" had reported. I'm not being politically biased either way Just explaining why they're different.
