  1. It's not a trivial matter..its happend on three occasions to Farage that I'm aware of ( poss more). And just as with other politicians or those who are prepared to be outspoken such as Kellie J Keen (aka Posie Parker) who has had soup thrown at her on a number of occasions ( most recently a couple of month back) by trans activists, it is a physical attack and it can be frightening ..any of those that have been the victim of an acid attack know what the potential consequences are.
