  1. If some billionaire had a secret, then how would it be released by these hackers ? Without proof it's an allegation. And how would they prove it, since they are criminals then any news organisation would have to reveal their source if published, thus making them part of the scam ( directly or indirectly). The Hackers basically want the money, and bringing down a corporate website unless the ransom is paid. Or better still just stealing from the finances without being noticed would make more sense... Egotistical flash car driving criminals are the ones that get caught.
