  6. All good points, clearly made. Whats more, TRUE. I don't watch much tv at all; except to occasionally, look-out for repeats of past quality shows, be it drama or comedy. But certainly not the news( beyond some headlines) or so called political discussion and statiricl progs like ' Have i got news for you' which should have been ditched at least five years ago.

  9. Hislop used to be the 'terror of the establishment' in the 1960's, with his ''Private Eye'' mag. BUT, like all those of that generation ( like BLIARS GANG ) when they were students --opposing -everything, THEY, and HIS-SLOP, became, the establishment, the LEFTY LIB, wishy washy establishment. And still trying to be cutting edge, pathetically unfunny, chuckling at his own none--humour. I hope his Mag, is soon history.
