I watch a lot of ''Talking Pictures' on Channel 81. which I enjoy but; The bulk of Films shown are from the early postwar years, to the mid sixties, Before every showing, they show a information Board, WARNING, that there may be language and views expressed, that are 'OUTDATED'. In other words, views expressed, when the general public were free to express their thoughts, unequivically.

My mother was born in Liverpool, in 1905, she often talked of her home city, when a young girl, and spoke of the Riots and mass looting, AND the brutality of the Police, most of whom were brought into the city from other areas, in hope that the local police didn't hesitate to use their truncheons, and, suffer reprisals afterwards.
