That’s all fine but what is the use of Congress if it keeps losing elections.

Doubt DMK will this time bet on a losing horse. They are experiencing a drought of Central power last ten years which is unusual for them. DMK would try to win as many seats on its own which they will then use it as a bargaining chip in case of an unlikely hung Lok Sabha. They may only give a couple of seats as they are in a position of strength. The “go back Modi” brigade may even embrace him!
