@libshastra — why then the judges have to face charges of compromised and inordinately delayed judgments. You are talking of unfettered judiciary guaranteed by the Constitution. One glaring example of helplessness of the judiciary is its utter inability to free lakhs of undertrials languishing in jails for years and years..

@Tryingtobringchange — it is simple. Irrespective of party affiliation a judgment that questions the government will be praised to the skies and a pro government verdict may be labelled as biased and that judges are playing to the tune of the ruling party. We should have some sympathy for the judges and the public at least should avoid mud slinging.
