Who started all these, the Dravidian parties in TN under what is euphemistically called the Dravidian Model. This was followed by the present king of freebies Kejriwal. All into the bandwagon. A day will come when this culture fails to fetch votes if all parties vie with each other in offering freebies. This is what happened in TN where freebie offering AIADMK and DMK came to power alternately. Where then is the advantage for one party?

@freesoul3466 — that’s no answer to my question. Women participation is due to the midday meal scheme introduced first by Kamaraj which increased the woman literacy rate which made the women to take up job in large numbers. DMK has as usual hijacked the credit for the woman empowerment.

@kumar.193 — can you spell out the job opportunities created by ‘these’ parties? What about the mega infra projects under Modi rule? How can you execute these large scale nation wide projects without workers? It is downright silly to take the samosa remark literally.
