  3. Good defense of Yogi and UP which is usually the whipping boy of all economists and the liberals. We have to take a charitable view of the largest State beset with social and economic problems. A country level approach is needed to tackle the problems of the State and to improve the standard of living of its huge population.

  5.  @manojchittayil3326  —- too pessimistic take on his own folks and nothing but self flagellation. It is true that Kerala depends largely on ME remittances but don’t forget Kerala’s tourism industry which contributes 10% of its GDP and 20% employment. BTW I am not a Malayali.
