@vinay7397 — thanks for accepting that RSS is not a violent outfit. They may have their ideology but they are not, like the Muslims and Christians, into proselytising. What’s wrong in promoting and preserving Hinduism. Hinduism is eclectic and cannot be straight jacketed into particular beliefs and practices. It my be for you through yoga and meditation but for many other ordinary folks just doing the rituals and worshipping their gods may amount to fulfilment of their religious beliefs. As for Modi vs others I have nothing to say except that it is hard to find in today’s India a selfless, incorruptible and hardworking leader as Modi without the baggage of family and friends. Maybe he is autocratic but his intentions are sincere and wants to strike a different growth path but constrained by compulsions if electoral politics. I do agree he should consult others mire often. I am however skeptical that any other, particularly regional satraps, will make a better PM. If Mamta were to preside our nation’s destiny, I have no doubt, she will be a lady Hitler. Please recall her days as Railway minister. The only alternative for BJP is Congress which is unfortunately in coma.
