As long as there is North South divide and the bogey of Hindi imposition (which has outlived its utility) and another bogey of Brahmin/Aryan domination (with less than 3% population they pose no real threat) the Dravidian parties are bound to thrive. Only a home grown party like Naam Thamizhar Katchi can throw a real challenge to these so called Dravidian parties.
