Travel to Mars is not as easy as it may sound. According to NASA, a one-way trip to Mars would take about nine months. If you wanted to make it a round-trip, all in all, it would take about 21 months as you will need to wait about three months on Mars to make sure Earth and Mars are in suitable locations to make the return trip. How do you pack enough oxygen for the trip? Can O2 be re-used?

There is SOOOOO much we still don't know about the universe and our existence! It may take another 1,000 years. But let me try to put it into perspective... The closest stars to our own - Alpha Centauri A & B - are roughly 4.35 light years away from us. Our own Milky Way Galaxy is 200,000 light years across with an estimated 100-400 Billion stars!!!!! So, if you could travel at the speed of light - 186,000 miles A SECOND - it would take 200,000 years just to cross the Milky Way!!! And the Hubble Deep Field suggests there are hundreds of BILLIONS of galaxies! Physicists/scientists use mathematical equations to try to understand the origins of the universe and use - what to advanced civilizations - must seem primitive radio telescopes. And they say the vastness of the universe came from a single event - the Big Bang. From Wiki: Georges LemaƮtre first noted in 1927 that an expanding universe could be traced back in time to an originating single point, which he called the "primeval atom." Why do I have suspicions the final chapter hasn't been written on this?

Hundreds of Billions of galaxies (Hubble Deep Field) and that was by design???!!!!
