  2. Notice how clean it was. No trash in the street and no homeless people camping on the sidewalk. I grew up in the 50s. People were nice to each other. NOTHING was taken for granted! Our moms and dads had just fought and won a world war after their childhood growing up amid the depravity and bread lines of the Great Depression! Truly The Greatest Generation!
