One thing that drives me nuts is when i check a relatives or friends car / service a car and find the engine air filter improperly installed. Not as common with factory filters that are plastic framed, but aftermarket filters and ones with foam surrounds are easy to bend during install when you are careless and the car ends up driving around for thousands of miles sucking in unfiltered air!

Haha, yep! I changed my dad's filter out at his house real quick and it was FULL of seeds from squirrels and chipmunks. He thought the filter was dumb and never changed it, so i wanted to show him what his cabin air was going through after 5 years. it was so stuffed... and my 5 minute cabin filter change turned into searching for tools in his small collection to pull the blower motor and get the Acorns and seeds out! Needless to say he was shocked, and even impressed at the airflow afterwards.
