  1. Most electronic throttle vehicles don't even have an idle valve, the computer just sets a base "closed" position and fine controls the opening from there when the accelerator is at 0... So it makes the carbon and gunk buildup more important, excessive buildup can exceed the max allowed control given to "idle" throttle plate opening and you can get stalling when you come to a stop, or when you put the car in gear... Very similar to a broken or stuck traditional iac valve.
