  1. Sounds like my 01 tundra... I was sad to get rid of it at 300k miles, it still ran like the day it was new and looked perfect inside, but rust was EATING it away. Every mechanical issue the truck had was due to rust. It still had the factory clutch (5 speed) when I got rid of it. Oil changes with basic oil every 3-5k.

  2. Yeah they love the Cressida, I Had no idea until I heard a similar story years ago that they are big in some community that I can't remember.

I used to remember seeing those year Camrys driving around outside Boston when I would commute with rear ends totally dirtied up from massive oil leaks misting oil back to the trunk and bumper (when driven at highway speed). My uncle had one and it had a MASSIVE oil leak from the oil pump housing, the gasket was all cracked up, and the underside of that car was absolutely covered in oil.
