  1. The thing I don't like about cars that are excessively and commonly modified is that everyone has different tastes... So many of these cars have had 5+ owners and when everyone mods the car you end up with hacked up wiring and absolute garbage reliability until you get it all sorted out. Fine for a project car, but I'd never pay good money to have to fix someone else's problems and re-modify a car to my liking. These cars, Mitsubishi Evos, eclipses, are hard to find that don't need "race" style parts like rock hard clutches, race seats, excessively loud exhaust, loud open to atmosphere turbo dumps, missing catalytic converters (i hate smelling my exhaust fumes at a light), and stiff suspension / lowering springs all fixed before it can become an enjoyable car that doesn't beat you up and you can actually use on a trip.

  3. Yeah TBI systems were much more simple and a "cheaper" more carburetor like setup. Thankfully it didn't stick around for long.
