  1. The o2 sensor's feedback to the computer is like walking down a long hallway with your eyes closed and your arms down... You don't know where you are in the hall till you bump into the wall (rich /lean) but you can make it to the other end, albit slowly and wobbly. An air fuel ratio sensor is like walking down that hall with your arms and fingers extended, you can make quick accurate adjustments as needed and even speedwalk and not spill your coffee (cleanest emissions).
