I killed my alternator in a month by letting oil drip on it. I put a supercharger on my car and it was leaking a bit of oil on the alternator (not much) but it killed it quicker than i thought. Fixed the leak and replaced the alternator. I knew I was pushing my luck by being impatient, but i didn't think it would kill it THAT fast. Lesson learned... Been good for 100k miles.
