  2. I remember working at a used Volvo dealer as a teen in 02 and doing oil changes... The Volvo 960 was advertised as having a 10k mile oil change. The oil didn't look good at 10k, and when people pushed it (wow! It can go so far, so 15k in 3 years is fine!) the oil was sludge! At the time they said oil had advanced (and it did) but engines are also pushed harder.
