  1. The designs have certainly changed a lot over the years! Much tougher on modern cars with harder and polished metals.

  2. What's the point? You have to take it out anyways. Get new OEM joints and don't worry about them for 10 more years. The rubber seals on aftermarket joints SUCKS. I put some on a Honda and I kid you not the rubber split in 1 year. I changed them in the summer, and next summer when I did a check up the rubber was split.
