  1. Language is a needlessly complicated dog's dinner. It needs re-inventing. Especially English, and its spellings. It does not need need specific versions of every word to cope with every possible situation. What's the group imperative for when somebody is outside on a Tuesday and they are in a playful mood? That doesn't need to be expressable in a single word. If those additional details are important; and they almost never are, we clarify with extra words.

  2.  @nathanielarterberry  The rules of Latin were not a natural evolution to my inexperienced eye - they appear wilfully created. But I do get your broader point. Even Latin has elements that evolved I expect.
