  1. Millions of people commit suicide before lockdown. Unless you can draw a plausible line between cause and effect, this is just an anecdote. Sorry for your loss but what else was going on in his life and did he have a history of mental illness?

  4.  @beth1979  Cold hearted? When somebody claims that A led to B, I want the correlation shown. For many people, lockdown relieved the stress of going to work. The fact is, any social change will affect some people for the better and some for the worse. Does that mean that we should avoid change? Especially when it was to prevent a healthcrae meltdown.
