I see an explosion in child porn, terrorism and religious extremism in the immediate future if this ever comes to pass. I love the idea of taking facebook or youtube's or twitter's power, but this solution comes with MASSIVE liabilities.

@JodyBruchon But surely, the entire point of decentralised systems, is that they CANNOT be controlled by authorities? Who gets to moderate when there are no system owners?

@JodyBruchon I think the world needs to take control back from tech and the government both of whom seem to feel as thoug they have a perfect right not only to listen in on every conversation, but to tell you what is acceptable to discuss, but I have fears about such an uncontrolled world. I suspect it will be crushed long before it gets off the ground.
