  2.  @oojimmyflip  If you have kids young, you give up the prime of your life raising them. That's time you can be doing great stuff, starting a career, getting fit, making money. Being "in touch" with your kids is far less important than you think. In fact, keeping them grounded with more traditional values will serve them well. I don't WANT the vaccuous tiktok generation sharing those values with their kids - it's objectively brought nothing but misery.
