  1. This practice is well known across the gaming world in Britain, the US and elsewhere. Employees are supposed to be so grateful to work in the industry that they will sacrifice their health to meet unrealistic deadlines set in order to satisfy shareholders or commissioning companies. The whole thing shows a lack of planning and the fact that even after 30+ years as an industry, games and asset developers are still clueless about how long and how many staff it actually takes to produce a game, or they're too mean to hire sufficient staff.
