I just hope that every person who was prosecuted can now refer to "The Cummings Defence" to get their fines overturned.

@J Robs The vast majority of people who were prosecuted DIDN'T break the rules but the INTENT of the law was to prevent disease spreading, and by the INTENT of the law, Cummings clearly transgressed it.

@MyName-cw4yr Not only are you wrong that nobody cares, (your own response contraduicts that), Karen was the name given to the histrionic rule breakers, not the ones who tried, for the good of society to comply with them. That's an impressive amount of wrongness in three words!

@MyName-cw4yr "how likely?" TOTALLY missing the point. If he thought he HAD it, and he was the one making the rules, he should have adhered to it. The amount of mental gymnstics Cummings apologists manage is almost impressive.

@TomCL-vb6xc I think that part of their own identity is defined by their support of these people, so when they turn out to be hypcritical scum who care only about themselves, they fel it diminishes them to some degree. Ironically, it's their continued support that does that.
