@lettylunasical4766 Yes, to be honest, I had come to the conclusion months ago that this was the only way out for Labour. I think Brexit WILL harm ordinary Britons in very tangible ways, but they won't become apparent for several years. When the results ripple down, whomever is in power is going to be in real trouble. Labour cannot be seen as the party of obstruction any more, so better they let the Tories own Brexit as you say.

He's a fool if he thinks Labour could win an election right now. Too much Brexit fatigue. Too many disgruntled people who just want it over. That said, maybe he's playing four dimensional chess and he recognises that the frst government after Brexit is going to have to answer for a LOT of post Brexit shit and he's happy to lose.
