"It's not possible for him to have read the Quran and be a Muslim then to kill people" That's known as a "no true Sotsman" fallacy my naive friend. Quran 4:89 "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks." Just one of over a hundred verses in the Quran preaching violence. You see what you want to see.

Ahh yes, there's always "a context" isn't there. Regrettably vast numbers of Muslims are not interested in understanding it, OR they follow Imams who interpret differently to you. Like I said, a no true Scotsman fallacy.

Perhaps if you learned to articulate yourself clearly, rather than concentrating on sarcasm, people wouldn't misunderstand. Have another go.

I dunno if you noticed but the entire world was barbaric 1000-1600 years ago. The difference is, the Christians and others evolved, whereas the Muslims codified their barbarity and stuck to it by the letter. And if you look at the spread of Islam across the middle east compared to the spread of Christianity (with associated death tolls) Islam has ALWAYS been orders of magnitude worse.

Yes it most certainly can. Just between 1894-1923 the Ottomans killed 50 million people.
