@alankardissi2519 You make many excellent points Alan. Assuming you are representing the facts accurately, I do not have glib answers. The issue of whether or not other agreements should still be honored after one party has behaved badly is a nuanced and complicated one with no simple answer. As for Turkey's role, there is a painful prosaic reality when a nation that large acts badly, just as there is with China, Russia, the United States or Israel. They cannot simply be leashed back and despots like Erdogan know it. International politics is shitty, and Putin is out there stirring the pot because Western chaos suits his interests.

@alankardissi2519 I never blame somebody for wanting to improve ther standard of their life Alan, regardless of why, but all three of those nations represented complicated threats in the region. I have mixed feelings about the actins of the west there, but let's not act as though the citizens were all sitting around eating chocolotes and living peaceful prosperous lives before the west got involved. However, regardless of whether these people have a moral right to be on the borders (and they are clearly being used as proxies by Russia) I think we can both agree that throwing rocks at the very people you are hoping will show you kindness is about the stupidest thing possible. Putin clearly wanted to take a PR victory from the "evil imperialist west" and these men have simply handed it straight back and made sure that most reasonable citizens are polarised against them.
