Heartbreaking to see the animals dying like that, but honestly, if all that death is caused by it gettting hot 1 month early, then they were living on a precipce at the best of times.

What absolute nonsense. Rome was not a desert climate, AND they had extensive irrigation and considerably greater civilisation than moder day Pakistani farmers. Egypt saw great swathes of the population living along the coasts and the nile. The Maya lived in a jungle environment, and the "Medieval era" is just word salad in this context - useless without location. Also, it covered a period of 1000 years.

@Olivia-W I get that Olivia, but if their migration routine is so weather sensitive that a month early kills their entire livelihood, it seems to me that they were already living more precariously than necessary.

Oh I see, trolling. Or dumb.

@warringtribes6689 No they weren't - not at all. The Romans were an unbelievably sophisticated society. They had advanced commerce, infrastructure, engineering, politics, agriculture, trade, and of course military. They held power for over 600 years, making them the longest lived empire on earth.

@warringtribes6689 Funny how when I google "Longest lived empire" it reports the Roman empire, with Chola only being listed as ONE of the longest. But even if Rome was not the absolute longest lived, it was ONE of them, and an absolutely incredible empire. I find it hilarious that you are so desperate to discredit the technological and other achievements of one of the greatest (if savage) empires the planet has ever seen. Did a Roman kick your puppy as a kid? 🤣🤣🤣
