Why would ANYONE do a thing this joke of a government says? If a tracer calls me, I'll be telling them where they can stick their rules now.

Really? It makes yu happy to know that the people running this country are cretins? We have these muppets for 5 years yet!

@britishmgtow7251 No, no, no. Improve the NHS. Scrapping an essential life-saving service because of the way it responded to government instructions would be crazy.

@britishmgtow7251 I'm not opposed to privatisation so long as it remains 100% accountable and is not permitted to make excessive profits but I see it as more likely that this would simply be a foot in the door for US style private healthcare and the crippling public costs associated with it.

@britishmgtow7251 Over 30,000 Americans die every year because they can't afford it. Insurance costs people on average 8 thousand a year. Even IF you are insured, deductibles and copays can STILL be crippling. There are strict ceilings on how much insurance will pay out so serious conditions can quickly exhaust your care. If you caught corona, the test was free, but a 14 day COMPULSORY hospital stay would have cost a minimum $5000 per day. The only good thing about US health care is the fcat that yu can get appointments when you need them, but given the fact that a single medium serious hospital visit can work out an entire family's lifetime savings, and all assets, I think somewhere between the two is probably better.

@trtyuiop I don't know. There was a time when they represented the working man, then they moved towards the centre and lost that. I believe Corbyn was for the working man but he had terrible tactical instincts as socialsts often do. Great ideas, poor undferstanding of when to shut up.
