  1.  @christiananderson4909  The term is kind of down to the PM withing limits 4 - 5 years, but he can call one on almost no notice any time up to then, which is how he got in, in the first place. A vote of no-confidence can be demanded by his own party and he's already survived one, although they are talking about another now. But if he wants to stay, and they don't push him out, we're stuck with him. I imagine we have the same mechanisms as the US 25th amendment but I've never heard of it being deployed or even discussed.

  3.  @joermnyc  As she did in Australia. The queen would NEVER do that in modern times. There's already enough crises in the monarchy - overriding the democratic will of the people would be the end of the monarchy. Hey, two birds with one stone! :D

  4. Demagogues like Johnson hand Trump and putin and Erdogan know that they can just lie to our faces, then tell us to f*** off and there's not a damned thing we can do about it. The number of people who still support Johnson, Trump and the Royal family is literally bewildering.
