@Puggalug You seriously think people can be asked to load multiple sock accounts simply to leave dislikes on a video Clinton will never see? That's not what happens - people send their followers to click the dislike buttons? What if that is NOT what's happening, and Hillary is just rightly despised? You don't solve one problem by creating another. And incidentally, the POSTER still gets to see all of theat potential hate. Your argument is like saying people should lose freedom of speech in case they say mean things. This was a terrible solution.

Darth Vader's Dad America is dangerous to the world, and almost all US politicians from both sides are the enablers. Ultimately, it's all about big business. If you took the money out of US politics, it would be a much better place.

@MS-ie1gs The idea of Gab is a decent one, but such services rapidly get monoplised by ultra right bigots, white supremacists, and worse. Unfortunately, it's like freedom of posting - a nice idea in practice, but in reality, quickly gets turned into a cesspool by the very worst members of society. It sounds as though you and I agree in general principle on the other stuff though.
