Why the hell are non-British nationals allowed to donate to British politicians in any case?! Even naturalised citizens should be banned.

@kiabtoomlauj6249 Yes to almost everytthing you say, except legalised bribery is FAR more rampant in the US. Fort starters, there are limitations on how much politicians can spend on their campaigns in Britain. Also, since Citizens United when money was defined as speech, there is FAR more overt bribery by lobbyists in the US. Also, how many generations of familes do you have to go back fir it to be considered "old money?" There are PLENTY of families in the US that are 3 generations plus of multimillionaires.

George Manolidakis Those other nations are not actively at war with our friends or subject to international sanctions. Even if that was NOT the case, Russia has not been on friendly terms since the second world war, so they should DEFINITELY have no influence in British politics.
