  1. Hundreds of millions of people in 3rd world nations don't have laptops - or electricity - sending a classroom of laptops to this one guy is a complete waste. Entire governments need replacing before the education of a single class of children becomes significant.

  2. They barely have even have electricity. There are more important priorities than computers. Contrary to this man's belief, just because the cities are using computers, it's perfectly possible to live without them. Spend your energies teaching them how to farm, how to think, how to vote, how to organise, how to do the things in their daily lives that will lift their communities from poverty. This seems like teaching a dog how to juggle - an amusing trick but see these kids turn up to the big city in bare feet, and their one yellow tshirt, and see how far it takes them.
