@connorgray2896 EVERY politician believes they are an expert on what's good and what's not, whether it's a form of socialism, or capitalism, or a dictatorship. How many millions have died in ther name of the military induustrial complex? A million in Iraq alone. And what about the arms industry?

" Yes, I can see that simplistic solutions to complex problems may very well fail to understand the ramifications of the problem or the proposed solution. In theory it should make zero difference, but in reality men are goddawful at considering issues that do not affect them, and can be downright toxic patriarchal. Just witness the recent wave of anti abortion laws introduced. My fear is, as with Margeret Thatcher and Theresa May here in the UK, the process of getting into power will make the women every bit as vile as the men. Women are more empathetic by nature, so if they can retain that, maybe America can cease to be a shithole swamp that only serves its corporate masters.
