More nonsense from the BBC. And this indoctrination is paid for by legal extortion via the licence fee. Let's see the video bemoaning the lack of female rubbish collectors and oil rig workers then I'll believe that this is about equality not simply a power grab. Studies have shown that women tend to support other women, whereas men are also protective towards women to their own detriment. Just this week I saw a news piece where a woman was assaulting a man. He finally defended himself and a white knight stepped in and killed him. This is the kind of shit that men already put up with. The last thing this country needs is quotas that put more already self-interested women into positions of power. We want the best people for the job, not quotas that ignore the real factors that determine who rises within a company. If more women on the board makes companies more successful then so be it, but I doubt that's true of ALL companies - just those that are consumer focussed. I wonder how many women are fighting to become generals, heads of aggregate companies, or on the board of freight businesses. They want the plum jobs, not equal representation at the shitty end of the stick.

And WTF does the global leadership position have to do with anything? Worldwide in 90% of countries, the average man is no more empowered than the average woman. Perhaps if you worried about freeing these populations from their theocratic, financial and political shackles before worrying about their status in tech board rooms.
