  1. The debate had NOTHING to do with his acquittal. The GOP senators are treasonous scum who had already decided to acquit before ever entering the senate. It was a disgrace to a nation that unjustifiably considers itself exceptional.

  3.  @herringfly  Okay, as you appear to be hard of thinking. The supreme court wouldn't touch it because it was an impeachment not a trial. Trump's own lawyers started on day one by stating how powerful the Dem's opening statements were and had to abandon their planned defence and make it up on the fly. There was a clear and demonstrable correlation between what Trump said, what happened and what he did afterwards, including his phone call with an enraged Kevin McCarthy, and his lack of preparation with the National Guard. The conclusion was foregone because, like you, the Republicans are so partisan and so far up Trump's ass, that they could tell what he had for dinner. And a nice dose of whataboutism by them and you to conclude. As I said, "I don't know what drugs you're on, but you are clearly in danger of overdosing."
