And for the idiots calling for war, the country has nearly 5 million males fit for military service, ten years of forced conscription, a massive military budget and tens of millions of innocent citizens. It's also in proximity to China and South Korea. Hardly a place you want to attack needlessly.

  4. Weapons that the US sells or gives to middle eastern allies frequently end up in the hands of its enemies. Also, Saudi Arabia is where the 9/11 bombers came from. The US should not even be TALKING to saudi arabia, much less supplying them weapons. As for healthcare - the US healthcare system is a total disgrace. It's because you have price fixing on meds and rampant profiteering on treatment. In europe, many of us pay nothing extra for healthcare, and even those with insurance pay a fraction of what you pay. So to answer your question, the primary reason healthcare is unaffordable is because it's a corrupt system.
