  1.  @gamers-xh3uc  Nope, read it again. This SPECIFIC volcano didn't exist, but it's been a volcanic island since the 1400s and likely many millennia more than that.

  2.  @Usuario1y1dos  The vast, vast majority of people on the planet do NOT live in proximity to predictable existential threats. Yes, all of those things COULD be problems, but by and large, they are not. With the exception of Indians who are too poor to migrate, and the area of flooding is so vast, I get irritated when people live in regular flood zones, or tornado alley just as much as I have little sympathy for people who live on islands that have been erupting for 700 years.
