You've never done a sit up to improve your abs, or bought expensive clothes to look good? This seems to be the opposite of narcisism to me. Women who disliked their bodies learning to appreciate them again.

No, and at no point was that suggested.

@morpheus1586 "Men arent this self obsessed and attention seeking." my facebook feed says otherwise. I think that women are moreso because they have been taught that their value primarily revolves around their physical attributes, just as adult men have been taught that their value is in their ability to make money and support a family. I share your distaste of EXCESSIVE self love, but bear in mind, the ARTIST appears to be the one who sought out the women in this case, and this not about averagely pretty women saying "look at me," this is about women who felt broken, finding a way to come to terms with their bodies again. It feels a bit new age hand wavy to me, but if it helps these women, I have no problem with it whatsoever.

Yeah, it has to be consensual and not in public. ;-)

Hoang Minh Dao From a psychological perspective, EVERYTHING you do is for yourself, even in your most altruistic moments, but you are only pleased because you conforming to other people's ideals of attractive or healthy. Evolutionary biology 101.
