  1. 97% of their tap water is unfit to drink, but Israel is going to spend billions of dollars desalinating water to refill a lake that will then evaporate? Bullshit. Desalination is the most expensive method of generating water. So much so that one of the Middle Eastern states floated an iceberg down from the Arctic for water, and that was STILL cheaper. As long as the wealth of the Middle East is hoarded by scum like Netinyahu, social projects like this will always fail to benefit the people.

  2.  @gethcreator751  No, water desalination is a very expensive form of water production. Our national health, police and essential services are collapsing from lack of funding. Government will not fund it, and our water bills are already high enough without paying for unnecessary water production.
