I suspect that if both sides decide to play hard ball, Britain will discover it has far fewer cards to play. I have the feeling that the EU is more than willing to do serious short term damage to its industries that trade with Britain in order to do worse damage to Britain. And Johnson and Farage already sacrificed a lot of Britain's future to help its cronies get richer. It's all totally scummy.

@drakehound2244 Absolutely NOBODY who understood it, claimed to be able to stop it, but if you can reduce the likelihood of it existing, and reduce the likelihood of catching it, then you will eventally have reached herd immunity where the risk is extremely low. The unlock is NOT a publicity stunt at all. Over 30 millions Britons are fully vaccinated, and the remainder are increasingly low risk. If you had a 1% chance of a serious reaction to covid before, and that risk drops by 60-90%, I'd say your odds were pretty good. The number of hospitalisations prior to the Indian variant had fallen much lower which was one of the most important factors. I don't know about now.
